Running Program

    I am trying to install a cd that contains what I need to be able to transfer photos from a Vivitar camera. When it gets done it fails to launch because there is another program, how can I find it? I have deleted all the previous information on vivitar and cannot find it all. So it leaves me puzzled. Help if you can.

    This often works to get rid of software that didn't completely uninstall.

    Reinstall the Vivitar software and then remove it with Revo Uninstaller.

    Restart the PC and connect the camera. Let Windows find the necessary drivers which is needed to access the internal memory. The memory card will automatically be accessible.

    Thanks Eldon, the only problem there is does not install, it tells me that there is a program already running and I cannot find it.

    Look in Task Manager.

    BTW Which version of Windows are you using?
