Hi everybody. I'm a newbie to this forum and would appreciate if someone can help me with the following topic. I wonder if it is possible to install a program directly to CD instead of to my harddisk. Moreover, if it is possible to burn any program to CD and run it from there instead of having it installed on my computer. I'm using a Pentium III with a 696 MHz processor and 256 RAM Memory. XP S1. Thanks to anyone who can help me

I generally download and save (instead of open) the program to my desktop, then burn to CD from there. Works spiffidiffilous for me. :D However, when you want to use it from the CD, it will want to install. Don't know any other way really........

my friend had his cd burner set-up to where he could save information to that drive and then it would burn it as it was downloaded. i'll talk to him tomorrow and see how he did it. and then i'll let you know.
