My Dad was telling me how his conservatory got invaded recently with squirrels. I've sent him this article and advised him not to bark at them next time!

Although it's amusing, I would very much doubt it's true.

I cant see it being untrue as it is the bbc and it was on the bbc news at 6 too.

 

Well... you are what you eat.. so tis logical that squirrels will be nuts! These had run out of the trees usual supply of food, so obviously knawed the tree its-self. Thus the transition continued until they heard the dog, thought... "Bark???..Thats along the same lines", and pounced!

Ah the logical progression of the mind! lol

 

Being on the news doesn't mean it's true.

It says the incident was witnessed by 3 locals, so you would have to straight away suspect it's authenticity.

Not to mention the fact that squirrels don't attack and "literally gut" large dogs.

Read the story and you'll see it's nothing more than a local yarn.
