    Hi

    I just put in a SATA drive but its not seen by my bios or windows, am I missing something ie do I need to set up a RAID or .....

    Is this a secondary drive, or are you installing windows on the drive? If you are you have to press a key (usually F6) during windows setup to install the drivers.

    If it is a secondary drive, i belive you can just install the drivers through windows, and then you drive should be shown.

    I had planned to use it as the primary drive and have enabled the RAID on the MB, only problem with it as a secondry drive is that the drivers arent signed and make the system reset.

    Going to try it as a primary Cheers

    Hmm I need drivers on a floppy to make it the primary drive and it doesnt like the ones that came on the MB CD.

    Looks like im spending the evening tracking down a driver
