Hello, I am back. My system was hit by bugbear. a few days ago.
I did a full scan using the updated Norton antivirus 2002 and adaware 6. System is supposed to be clean.
Now appliances are dialing out and are connecting to the internet, information has been download and rerouted.
I have been always using Zone Alarm firewall the free stuff, not very performing.
The system is under attack by a slammer worm detected by ZA .
ZA found that a spooler subsystem app is connecting eachtime I turn on the computer, destination IP 0000 DNS, is it legitimate?
Where can I find the offending apps and remove them?
My technical expertise is at level triple zero .
    my system specs:
    ABS computer
AMD 761+ 686B AGP ??? the user's manual says so
    motherboard GA-7DX R +
    3com PCI 10/100
    Win XP/home
    Thanks in advance
