Sabrent Issues

My old laptop died, but the hard drive survived, I have a new laptop that is identical. Lenovo L440, Win 10 pro.
I need business files on the old hard drive. I put the old hard drive in a Sabrent. And connected it with a cable to the 3.0 port. I can hear the hard drive run inside it. I connect it to the new laptop and I can hear it connect.
But Drive E (what it should be) does not show up. I do not want to transfer the whole drive, just a few important record files. What can I do bring up the E drive? Thanks for the help.

 

Open disk management and see if the drive is there and if you can assign it a drive letter.
step by step

 

I go to disk management, I run rescan disk. This is what I get. Photo attached. Disk 1 is the sabrent device attached to the laptop via a usb cable. My intent is to use the old hard drive like a flash drive. I don't need everything on the drive just some.

 

So I did this and this is what I got, and I still cannot access E. Foogoo, thanks but I need to access not reassign.
