Safari for windows

Safari 3 (beta) is now available for windows:

if you care that is ;-)

 

I personally don't care for Safari. But that is curious.

It has some nice features, like private browsing.

Yea I agree Adrynalyne, my Opera is much faster, will have to play with it some more but intial usage sucks and I hate icons that don't tell you what they do when you "Highlight" them

 

Pulling it down now, will likely get to it tomorrow afternoon and let you know what I think.

Its a boring browser, damned fast tho.

its down fall will be no plug-ins.

 

You havent seen fast, if you think that is fast.

Safari has plenty of web plugins available. Maybe you meant addons/extensions?

 

Using it from Vista right now, I like the way pages render, text is very easy to read straight out of the box, very clean looking too. I can't comment about speed yet as I've only been using it for 15 minutes. Looks good though I don't think I'll be using it instead of FF.

 

Really glad that the MG moderators don't allow MG to deteriorate into the crap expressed in Slashdot. Tried reading the posts there, but gave up very quickly. Bazza
