Safe Mode Rules!......Unfortunately......

    Weird Stuff Happening to this not-so-tech. Limey Dude!
    PC starts in Normal Mode, but then 'freezes', SO have to resort to Safe Mode...
    In Safe Mode surfing surprisingly fast, but, of course no audio, pictures etc.
    On recommendation, tried US based SpyHunter 4, but so far despite tech. advice etc, the same old..same old....
    Any ideas from MajorGeeks Wonderfolk??

    and this would be what version of Windows? It wouldn't hurt to also mention the brand and model of computer so we can check on the hardware specs.

    Hello!
    Thanks for getting back to me.
    My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5920 & running Windows Vista. The specifications taken from the laptop lable are:
    Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T5450 (1.66 GHz, 667MHz FSB L2 Cache) 160 GB HDD.

    Vista is the only version (aside from 8) that I have zero experience with. Let's hope someone who knows Vista will step in.
