safely uninstall python 2.2?

    Can I safely uninstall "Python 2.2.3" and "Python 2.2 pywin 32 extensions (build 203)" from my Win XP machine?

    I'm not a power user--just surfing, email, MS Money, some music, etc.

    Thanks in advance for any help.
