    Hi all,
I am not understanding what this program actually does. Is it to download programs safely? Are they deleted when you exit? If any one has used it please give me a little feed back.

SafeSpace creates a virtual environment, called a sandbox, for Internet facing applications and content that is downloaded from these applications. From inside SafeSpace, all changes to your application files, system files and registry are virtualized.

These virtualized changes only affect applications inside the sandbox, leaving the native computer in an unmodified state. When the SafeSpace session ends, or the user logs off, all changes are deleted

I could be wrong here, but I think that SafeSpace is what is commonly called a "sandbox" utility. It creates an area that is basically sealed off from the rest of the PC and runs the specified program in this "box". If the program attempts to infect or otherwise harm the PC, it can't because it's locked in the sandbox. For more info, take a look at SandBoxie and/or visit their home page or the SafeSpace home page.

They have a couple of PDF docs at the SafeSpace links you can download for more details.

    Hi there.

SafeSpace is a new and alternate approach to protecting your computer and private data while using Internet facing applications.

As correctly described, SafeSpace is a sandbox, which means that any application run inside is completely isolated from the computer, so if any malicious activity is encountered, the effects or 'payload' is safely contained within the virtual environment.

When you next log off, or 'purge' SafeSpace, all traces of that payload are removed, leaving your computer completely clean.

SafeSpace does not require signatures or updates to protect you. Instead, it contains ALL activity within the sandbox, so no matter what happens, it does not harm your computer.

In addition to isolating your computer, SafeSpace also protects your personal information from spyware. By default, ALL private data and files are unreadable from within SafeSpace. So if you do encounter a spyware executable, it will not be able to read any passwords, emails or banking information. SafeSpace also disables any keylogger activity inside the isolated environment.
