    All I need is a box (for a file server, to "map a drive" letter only) running Linux (Red Hat?) running Samba that is point and click configurable...

    If someone made a GUI utility that did that, they could make a nice buck :) .....

    Or is there something like that out there that I don't know about....

    Red Hat/Fedora comes already with a GUI utility (redhat-config-samba) for Samba
