Same WinXP updates keep recurring... how to stop it?

I need help please! Please refer to the screen shot.

Every time I shut down my PC it asks me to do these updates. At first I did as it asked. But after a couple of times I click on turn off without installing. It recurs every time.

How can I check if these were updated (did as it asked once or twice)? How can I make it stop asking to update them?

 

You need to go to the Windows Update site. There you can see what downloads have installed on you computer. I suspect you will see that these updates have failed. If so, look at the error that is preventing installation of each update.
