Samsung DVD Writer Combo - SE-164 Error =/

    Djzzero Private E-2

    I tried burning a data and a movie with the dvd burner and it keeps giving me a error, not sure why it's doing it. I downloaded the latest firmware from the samsung's website to ensure its updated.

    Here is the log error off Nero.

    Hi

    Have you updated the firmware for the drive at all? SE-164 where you get that from as the model version as the nero errata gives the model as the SH-S162L and you have latest firmware in TS05 for that drive, so the below are options.

    Try a better branded media than CMC.

    Burn at slower rate.
