folks, I am trying to get my sanyo/sprint cellphone to communicate with my Evo PC. Windows XP Pro.
I have 2 sanyo .ini files and no instructions as to what to do with them.
Windows doesn't see anything when I put the cable in a USB port and simply fire up the phone [unlike, say, a camera].
I assume that I must first 'install' the device drivers somehow.

can someone enlighten me as to what to do?

    thanks

    Try this:
    http://download.igonemobile.com/files/Sanyo_USB_Driver.zip
When you click the link, it will go directly to a download. I downloaded and scanned it for viruses and malware, it's clean ;)
The folder contains 3 .inf files when you unzip it. When you plug your phone into the USB port, the New Hardware Wizard should pop up. 'Point' it to the unzipped folder and it should work.
