I recently got my grubby mit's on a Sapphire X1950 Pro 512mb graphics card. I have been using the on board graphics for my current set up (Everest report attached) so was obviously looking forward to changing. Although it took a bit of messing about upgrading to a 550w psu from a 300w just to handle the card, finding a molex to 6 pin to deliver the power, locating a male 3 pin to power the cooler/fan and then finding a converter for my monitor i eventually got there. Now my problem is the drivers.

Right now my monitor is plugged into the on-board slot as there is no signal when connected to the card, i have tried installing the drivers provided by ati but every time i run the .exe i get the error attached as a screen below.

    Can the problem be resolved?

    Hi

What you may have to do first is to make sure that the Intel onboard is disabled in the BIOS, as some BIOSes dont always auto turn them off when plugging in an add-on card.

Also you will have to uninstall the Intel Graphics driver first and do make sure you have downloaded a copy of it incase you cannot get the ATi card working.
