I have a Biostar P4M900-M4 motherboard with built in EIDE Controller and Win-XP and am trying install a
1 Port eSATA + 1 Port SATA PCI Controller Card w/ LP Bracket and when I try to boot the computer nothing happens the screen is black and the computer tries to start but I get no boot screen and the red light goes out and NOTHING.

This is the 2nd Controller Card I have tried, could 2 of them be bad?

No, but your Motherboard may not be setup in the Bios for it.

How should it be set up.

You own the computer, you are going to have to look in the bios. I cannot, do to I do not have physical access to your computer, so I cannot tell what the bios says, or go through doing this for you.

Best way to learn, is that you need to go into the bios and check things, make sure the card is fully seated, etc.. With XP, you do have to load the drivers for the card to work, otherwise it is just going to do nothing.

When you got the card, there should have been an instruction sheet and driver cd with it.
