    hi,

i have just recently installed windows xp onto a ide hd. i also have 2 sata hds that are just for extra storage. i stupidly did not install the sata drivers that came with the mobo (asus k8v-x se) when i did the windows install.

is there anyway to get windows to see the additional sata drives without doing a complete reinstall of windows (and everything else)?

    any help greatly appreciated

yes just install them like normal, you only need to add them during the install if its your primary drive.

Ok, just hookup the sata drives, then when windows prompts you for the drivers, insert the cd that came with them. and let it autosearch the disc for them.
