SATA HD "hidden" from BIOS

    Posted this a week ago but didn't get a fix:

    My new Saegate Serial ATA HD is formatted and I cloned my old drive onto it with Acronis software. The Seagate shows up in "My Computer" and in "disk management" but I am unable to get it to boot. The HD does not show up in the BIOS settings.
    I added this to a 4 year old Sony Viao the had two IDE drives connected to it. The Seagate is connected via a PCI card adapter. Adapter divers are loaded. Not sure what to do next.
