SATA limitations information request

    What are the SATA size drive limits for XP, VISTA, Win 7 for 32 and 64 bit operating systems versions. Furthermore what are the limits for single drives, and can that be extended by using multiple (non raid) drives and raid drives?

    Any work arounds, hardware suggestions or tools would be helpful.

    I find bits of information everywhere but perhaps someone knows of a single comprehensive link to my answer or can explain it. Thanks!
