Satellite Internet

I live in the rural country. I was wondering if satellite internet would be a good internet connection. Is Hughes Net a good IP service?? Thanks for your responses.

 

Yes I had to let my landline phone go due to financial problems. I have Dish Network and they offer satellite internet and it is with Hughes Satellite. I am trying to find out if they provide good internet service. Thanks for your reply.

 

I have Dish Network and was thinking of getting their internet at one time. The Dish Network Serviceman was here installing a new system for us and I ask him how good their satellite internet was and he advised me not to get it, so I didn't. This was before they combined with Hughes Net. It may be better now, I don't know anyone who has it to ask. The most accurate reviews come from someone you actually know in my opinion. As Tim said read some of their reviews before you decide.

Are you able to get a good cell phone signal where you live? If so you may want to consider getting a hotspot from Verizon or AT&T. You surely get faster speeds. With AT&T we pay $22.00 a month.
