Savage4 HawkeyeIV SR9

My computer came with HawkeyeIV SR9 8MB SDRAM
Chip Type: Savage4
I have several games that wont play. Do I have to use
Hawkeye? Is there another that I can use and whats
best?

 

Im confused...are you saying that your computer is only running on 8 Meg of Ram? Because if thats the case, That should BARELY be able to boot Windows 3.1 lol. Unless its some sort of handheld device?

 

I'm pretty sure that's a video card, and you should NOT have to use it, unless your motherboard doesn't support anything better. Check the system requirements for your games. I can almost guarantee that they require a video card with more than 8MB of ram. My own, bought earlier this year, has 256MB.

back where I bought it and have them upgrade the
graphics card and program.

 

Oh wow, lol...shows how much I know, lol...yeah mind is 256 as well...as if you want to play ANY of todays game...they REQUIRE atleast 64 megs of Video Ram....with 8 megs you can play DOOM, and Maybe even Quake, but im not sure, lol
