Is there a way that I can save a few of my data files (ie music files) before reloading the operating system software. I am at the point where I am going to reload everything onto my computer. I do not care about losing the programs there are 2 files that I cannot lose! Thanks

If you have a CD writer you can burn them to a CD.

Do you have XP if so try hitting F8 before the splash screen there you will enter safe mode and you can save your files and maybe repair your OS...
