Save The Files!!!!

I want to reinstall XP, to prove to my family that I am worthy of a new computer.
I make programs and do not want to lose them. How should I back up my data.
My computer is not hooked up to the WWW. I do not like to waste disks.
I have a few blank DVDs, but I do not want to waste them.
I have an iPod(4g), and a PSP(512mb). Shoiuld I use them?
HELP!!!

I think you can use your iPod as a removable hard drive. I don't have an iPod, so I don't know how, but it works with my Creative Zen. I suggest finding an iPod owner to help you out.

If you have CDRW discs then your not wasting them as you can erase them once used, great option for moving files, If you have a normal USB Pen used that, but yes you can use your iPod to move files, just follow the below....

Depending on how much space is available, you can store any kind of file (such as a text document or picture) on your iPod or Motorola phone featuring iTunes. You can, for example, use your iPod to copy a file from one computer to another. You can also see the files stored on an iPod or phone on your desktop.

To store or view files:
Connect your iPod or phone to your computer.

When the device's icon appears in the iTunes window, select it, click Summary (for iPod shuffle, click Settings), and then select "Enable disk use."

To copy files to the device, drag them to the device's icon (it appears as the next available drive).

To view files stored on the device, double-click its icon.

You can't see music, video, or games copied to your device using iTunes.

To copy files from the device to your computer, double-click the icon and drag files from the window that appears.

Taken from itunes help, cannot recreate this as the iPod Touch like the iPhone does not have this capability as yet, unless you use a 3rd party app.
