I am moving from Comcast to Verizon for my ISP.
I have A TON of emails under 4 different email addresses with Comcast and I use Outlook Express to access them.

I’d like to save all this to my local drive so that I will have access to them after I move to Verizon.

I scoped out the offerings under Mail Utilities on MajorGeeks and I downloaded the Outlook Express Freebie Backup. http://www.majorgeeks.com/Outlook_Express_Freebie_Backup_d4179.html

So, I ran it and I now have a bunch of “.dbx” files and stuff on my C drive.

But – how do I access these files?

I’d like to be able to open them and read them from my C drive – is this possible?

Do I need to download another utility to do this?

Is there a 'better' (easier) way to do this?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!!!

Just open outlook and under file, hit import and specify the saved location.

    HI!
This may not be 'easier', but you will be able to open them with Outlook Express by simply double clicking them.
In Outlook Express, open the messages you want to save.
    File>Save As
First create a folder for them in your Documents (or wherever you want to store them) and save them there as .eml.
