    Hello all!
I'm a frequenter of 4chan, and I happened upon some humourous .gif files I'd like to save. Now, I know to save and view .gif files, you should save the file as a .gif and then open it via Internet Explorer, or some such system. However, when I try that, the only option I get via the "Save as" button is to save it as a .bmp file. Any suggestions you might have on how to fix this would be really appreciated.
Also, 4chan is set up so that I won't be able to view the .gif again if I restart my PC or something, so if theres methods that don't require this, I'd be very pleased.
    Thanks in advance. :)
EDIT: I read http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=27503 and did the steps there. .jpeg's work fine, but .gifs don't work still.

My apologies, I put it in another browser and it worked fine.
    Sorry for the bother!
