Sbs 2003 vpn

Hi Everyone!!!

I was hoping someone could clarify a few things about SBS 2003 VPN. So, far I have only been able to have it work in the office with laptops that already have all user settings. I haven't had any luck with a desktop, and it seems when I type in the info manually for outlook, it stops updating remote web mail. Please someone help me out here. Is there something I am doing wrong or just the limitations of SBS 2003's VPN???? If there is a way to have it work on any computer I have yet to find out.

that is actually what i used to set up the vpn. the vpn works its just I can only get it working on laptops that have local copies of software such as psts. Outlook is the biggest problem because once I configure a laptop for our vpn that is not in our network it pull all the mail information from exchange so now remote mail wont update. so it kinda comes down to a choice, do you want access to your files and email on your laptop or on any computer you use. For some reason both wont work. again this is only for personal laptop not work laptops because everything works fine, since everything that is needed is already on the laptop. it seem once you setup outlook on a personal computer that ost file takes control over the one that was on the server, or something that prevents remote mail from updating. I haven't been able to research it too much that is why i came here hoping someone might have an answer for me.
