   i have me and every time i run scan disk it says that it's run 10 times...do i want to continue? can someone tell me the problem and how to correct it? thanks

   make sure you turn off your screensaver, and ctrl-alt-del until everything is closed except explorer and systray. if that doesn't work (which it should), run it in safe mode.
