scan msn for ips

hi their,
i would like you know if anybody knows of or has a program that will scan msn and tell my the ips of my contacts or along the lines of that .

For the msn network, no. Not unless you have a video chat,voice chat or the whiteboard... eseentially anything that is directly connected to them. Just plain text goes through MS's server and you never connect or get to see their IP.

 

ok let say i connect to their web cam ,then what?

 

I don't know of any programs that tell you msn IP's per say. It's just that it would be possible then. A packet sniffer could see what the packets are going. Although you might find it a little too complex. Some firewalls would be able to monitor this.

There may be a program built to just tell you that but I don't know of it. So for now all I can really suggest is that you look at the packets and just read the ip's yourself.

 

Why do you want this info? Sounds a little suspicious to me.

 

I recently got a nasty virus and i share quite a few files through msn , i found a ip comeing from the virus and would like to see if i could mach it up to any of my ppl as they dont trust with telling me it theirselfs . Iv got a program called super scan, i wounder if that would be of anyuse . google it to find out mroe about it ,

Yeah see thats called hacking, and you probably wouldn't want to go around asking about how to do it to people against there will because it's pretty illegal.

 

To be fair looking up someones IP (that is actually already on your computer) isn't hacking and anyone who has to ask how to lookup an IP isn't going to be hacking anyone either because figuring out the ip is the easy part and if they needed help with that they got virtually no chance of doing anything with it.
