I bought a 1 tB ScanDisk SSD from Costco and it worked fine.... at least up until now. For some reason, I can't get my computer(s) Mac & PC to recognize the drive any longer. I insert it into my Mac and it won't mount. I inserted it into my PC and I get the "music" indicating something was inserted but after a few minutes it finally mounts but does nothing.

When I double-click on it it tells me to insert a drive into the computer. If I do a "properties" check it tells me the drive is working fine. If I go to disk management it shows the drive but the entire two rows after the drive letter are blank and I can't do anything with it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

When you right click on the drive within disk manager, it has no available selections at all?

    No, no response at all.

If I was you, I would use Diskpart from a command prompt to access it, and see what is going on with it, and maybe fix your issue with it. There is a lot to explain about it, so instead of trying to write up something I will just point you to a good write up of what it is and how to use it. https://windowsreport.com/manage-hard-drive-partitions-using-diskpart/

Nope all commands led me to no column..... no partition..... could not format it. I guess it is now a paperweight or garbage can worthy.

You bet. Sorry it did not work. Did it even see the disk? Did you try the "clean" command if it did.

Have you checked the device manager:
    1. Device Manager: Open Device Manager (right-click Start > Device Manager) and look for any warnings or errors related to the SSD. You might need to update or reinstall the driver.
