Scanner driver needed

    Ok guys, here is the problem:

    Primascan Colorado 2400u scanner

    lost the cd ( driver)

    tried to download it from the website but it didnt work

    help..!!!

    Johner,
    Thanks for your post! I had downloaded the same driver and it didn't work, but I came across your post and decided to try it again. I used Glary Utilities to clean up all the crap and then downloaded the since deleted driver for my scanner again. Then after installing the driver, I went to the uninstall part of Glary. When using that feature, Glary gives a tech support link, which I followed, and that led me to (if I remember correctly), a microsoft update which I downloaded. After rebooting, there it was: my scanner, just like it used to be before my BAD crash. The bad crash, by the way, taught me how to scan downloads before opening them. I'm obviously not a geek, but I'm working on it. Since I'm in my 60s it takes a little longer than it used to. But it's fun. Thanks again.
