Okay y'all I got a issue with a Dell 968 all in one printer. A few months ago i updated the desktop system to A dell Mini Tower. ( if you need specs on it let me Know) The reason I'm here is that just recently I can no longer scan any photo's so I can do some touch up work on the photos. Now the strange part to this, it will copy, fax, print anything I want but I just recently started doing touch up on some old photos of mine. and just recently I lost the printer sighting in the device manager in the system setting.
I've been through just about every article on Dell website concerning this and find minimal that have to do with this issue.
Currently running Vista on this Machine.

Any help or even possible ideas on how to fix this Would be greatly appraciated. Thanks

    1. make sure all connections are secured!
    2. make sure printer has power
    3. go to control panel - then add a printer
    4. follow the steps and see if your printer comes out of hiding ;)

Would that idea apply to a wireless printer? :confused
I know I'm sorry I forgot to mention that in my previous post. But I was tired and as you can probably guess wasn't thinking to clearly... Dang thing is driving me up a wall... lol Anyways I'll try it and see.
