    Hi!

I am hoping i am posting this in the right thread..

I am going to scan a lot of pictures, but no matter what settings i use for my scanner the pictures turn out pixelated. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I can do to get better pictures when I scan them?

This is what it turns out like:

thats because they are photographs. I've found a few websites that give tips on getting better scans with photos. do a search, and find out some tips. some I've seen go as far as coloring the photo with a clear wax crayon (like the ones you get in an easter egg dye kit) or wrapping the photo in plastic wrap (to get rid of the glare). Some scanners have settings to help remove spots and such. this site has alot of good tips: http://www.scantips.com/
