Greetings. This is my first post, and I have a question. My internet access is limited to dial-up here in the country. I am looking for a (preferably) freeware software that will permit automatic dial-up to my internet provider's server on a repeating shedule--say at a certain time each day. I have installed 'logmein' software so I can remotely control my desktop computer over the internet. My idea is to start up my webcam software from a remote location and view whatever it's focussed on. Mostly I'd like to see if the driveway is clear of snow and if the temperature in the house is stable while I'm in some warm place like Mexico.

I've searched for appropriate software, but no luck so far. Any recommendations? Maybe there's a whole new way of achieving what I'm after. Thanks in advance!
