Scheduled tasks not working properly

I have a computer running XP-Home, and I have a bunch
of scheduled tasks set up. However, most of them do
not run (the time just passes by and it doesn't run). I've
done much the same thing with other systems (but they've
all been W2k or XP-Pro systems.

I can left-click> run any of the tasks, and they run ok
manually.

Does XP-Home have limitations on scheduled tasks?

Any other ideas??

Is there a password on your user account?

Scheduled Tasks requires it to run.

I would set a password, then redo the tasks.

 

Yes... I verified, and the task scheduler is running "automatic"... /Fred

 

There is a password, and it is ok... what happens is that
the jobs run sporatically... they'll run a couple of times
fine, then not run until I manually run again, then maybe
other tasks will stop running, until I manually run them
once, etc... just weird and strange behaviour... so I do
think that verifies that the passord is not the problem.
