Does anyone have any experience with this? im having some problems with this and im not too sure if someone here can help but its worth a try.

our registrar at the campus i admin works with an old sco linux box for older transcripts that are not in the new system.
there is a folder on our network drive that updates, via batch file on the server that hosts the network drive, with a .doc file that contains the transcript that she prints.
the script runs. the folder is accessible. the sco box is on and "working" as usual from what i can tell.

heres the problem. when the lady requests a transcript from anita java that runs on the sco box, there is a .doc file that is created and updated in the folder that she will then use to print from. she can request the transcript, but the file does not show up in the folder, thus not allowing her to print the transcript.

like i say, the script runs correctly, and the folder is accessible. i dont understand what is happening and i dont know how to check for stuff since im not very good with linux...

is this something anyone here can help with?
