When i start up, or sometimes in a game, my screen scrambles, it stays scrambled when you ctrl-alt-del, but i now where everthing is, if i use the arrow keeps to go to change user screen it loads that one all right, but sometimes it scrambles when coming back into whatever program caused it.

    Windows Vista Premium btw.

i added as attachments two screen shots, the first one is loaded when Galactic civilization 2 dark avatar is loaded, the second is when i ctrl-alt-del from there.

Its done this alot before, but it started to be much more common after i installed the latest vista 'patches'.

    Hate... Vista.... So much....

If you go to control panel, windows updates, does it show an update for your video?

    Tried Newest geforce driver,
    Newest Vista 'updates',
    newest moniter drivers,

After updating it continues. However i just tried an older nvidia driver and its not nearly as common, but it still pops up, and now games seem to constently crash.
