This has been doing on for about two months. During video playback, DVD's, avi, from any video software, my screen blacks in and out every 10 to 15 seconds or so. Drives my kids crazy trying to watch their movies. I've tried updating the drivers , etc. Anything I can do to help find what the problem is? If I watch like the news video inside IE, it doesn't do it. It's almost like there is a conflict of video player softwares. Thanks.

    HI

What Windows Version do you have?

What video players are you using? update them if possible and also give this one a try as it has the codecs built in VLC

Do you have any Codec packages installed if so what one/s? if you do have any uninstall them and then install an updated one, say this one http://majorgeeks.com/Vista_Codec_Package_d5326.html

What Graphic Card do you have and have you updated the drivers?

Sorry. I ddin't provide very good information. I think I have it though. I mix matched some ram and it apparently was only affecting the video playback? Seems good now. Thanks.
