Screen Cut Off

The right portion of my screen is cut off on many programs It has done this before, but I was able to remedy it, by cuing the far right upper portion of the screen , or by moving the entire screen a little to the left. That option is not working
I was going to try Windows repair, but it will not download.
There seems to be a few gazillion solutions and repair programs which makes me hesitant to just download anything to remedy this problem.

Found win repair, downloaded. Did not upgrade. All solutions I found available for $$. Am on limited fixed income.
Still have screen problem.

Ctrl + Alt
Then Maxamizw

 

My joy a finding the solution was short lived, with the problem reoccurring.
Shop tech identified problem as drivers. Replaced.

 

This has surpassed being a pain in the donkey.
I just had drivers updated or replaced,(translated $$) and the problem was cured - temporarily
The problem has again manifested itself and the screen is shifted, cutting off a small segment.
I tried the Crtl + Alt solution which worked before. Now that does nothing.
What the hades is the problem? Does anyone have any ideas on how to cure this aggravation?
I am beginning to think this home brew PC is not worth the powder needed to blow it up.
