I got this laptop broken, screen was smashed, got new screen, put it back together and i am just wondering maybe LCD screen cable as well? or stuffed mother board, poor negative connection?

Connect an external monitor to the laptop, press the appropriate Function key combo (Fn + F5 on my Toshiba) and see if the problem occurs there too. If it looks good, then your new screen (or the connection to it) is bad. If the external monitor looks bad too, then it likely the graphic solution/motherboard.
