Hello, I have an Asus Notebook Eee PC Shell series PX1101.
When I run Autoroute 2010 with GPS the screen shows the map correctly, but flashes off and on the whole time. Is this something to do with the video card, or just some setting on the notebook?
    Can someone help me please?
    Thanks

To use Microsoft® AutoRoute 2010, you need:
PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed.
Windows 7® with 2 GB RAM
Super VGA (1024 x 768) or higher resolution monitor.

From what I can find, the 1101PX netbook, it is not a notebook, has a 10.1 inch display, with a 1024 x 600 resolution.
So your netbook doesn't have a good enough resolution for the program.

The other thing that might cause a problem, although you have 2GB of RAM installed, it is shared by the video; I'm not sure if this would have an effect on the program.

Thanks for the reply. The autoroute used to work fine a while ago, but I have not used it for a few months. Only now has it started flashing, but I don't know of anything that has changed.
Is there anything I can do about the RAM being used by the video?
In fact, is there anything at all I can do?
    Thanks

The maps themselves come up fine, but it flashes when I start the GPS.
But they both DID work a while ago.

I've just checked it again, and it does have 1024 x 768 which it has always been set on. It definitely only flashes when I plug in the USB GPS to enable real time. The basic map (country shape) stays on screen but the details, roads etc. and GPS trail and location flash constantly.
