screen freeze

    Attention fellow soldiers!
    Here is the mission:
    i am using windows xp
    this probelm started recently
    when i right click on anything, or try to drag an icon, the screen freezes and i have to reboot.
    how can i deal with this evil enemy?

    Here's a possible quick fix: try Dial-A-Fix http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4899.html
    But, if you can't right click to unzip it, you may be stuck. Maybe double clicking it will work....
    Anyway- check everything in the 'registration center' and click 'go'....
    Edit: I just tried double clicking it, and it will take you thru the unzipping process when you try to run Dial-a-fix.exe

    Tried it. it uzipped and ran, but did not solve the problem.
    any other plan of attack?
