Screen not centralising !

    My wife and i used my daughters LT at the weekend to watch a film but couldn't seem to IE centralised on the 42inch Screen TV using VGA cable, it seemed to be all to the right, checked the TV settings can't seem to find out wrong there, any suggestions ?

    Sorry, rusty, but huh?

    Are you talking about watching a movie from your computer to your tv?

    Did you try to go in and change your resolution to see if that solved the problem? It's probably using the resolution you use for your computer rather than the TV screen.

    Yes to #1 Laura, just couldn't seem to centralise IE or FF on the 42inch screen and yes changed the resolution on the LT, but still all to the right by about three or four inches on the TV screen . Just so :confused about it !

    Weird.

    Did you turn your computer off before connecting, connect, boot, set your display, then restart?
