Screen Not Computer Freezing

Hi Gang.

Have developed this very annoying issue over past 48 hours. For some reason my screen has started to freeze. I know its not the computer as I can still here the music or the game sounds, i can also put the caps lock on/off etc. When it happens I get that error pop up window sound however I cannot obviously see what the error says as the screen is frozen before the message has time to appear.

Benq GW2760
Grahics GTX 970
Windows 7

I have updated the graphics driver and have run both anti virus and Malwarebytes

Ok I have come up with the error it looks like a hardware issue however I dont know what it means::

In Device Manager check the exact name and version of your video card/hardware, then go to its manufacturer web site to see if its driver is up to date.

 

Or roll back to the previous working version. Sometimes "If it ain't broke don't 'fix' it." is the best policy.

 

It depends whether the poster updated the graphics driver precisely because of this problem, in which case rolling back is not likely to be of any use.
However, rolling back to a System Restore point (if one exists) for when things were working fine could be a better idea.
