Hi, my graphics card broke a couple of days ago so I had to get a new one, an nvidia riva tnt2 (a temporary one, im planning a huge upgrade later this year) anyway this has been giving me problems. I uninstalled the old ATI drivers from my last card and installed this cards drivers, this made no difference to the problem I was have, which is this: the screen looks like its flickering, like the frame rate messes up for a split second, it does this especially when loading. I tried lowering the resolution to 1024 but it's still doing it. I can barely watch videos on this pc now, the screen went completely black a minute ago then came back. Can anyone help, this is an emergency.

I should probably also mention that just now is when it's been at it's worst, installing the driver seems to have made it more volatile, but I'm not sure why, I know it's the correct one. I was able to watch videos yesterday without much hassle or flickering but now it freezes up the entire system when it try.
