Screen Savers and Such

I have a screen save I found and wanted to use....of course being babied by my computer for so long has left me incomopetent on doing this. The screen saver doesn't have a self-installer. It just came as a Screen Saver file. I don't know what file folder to place it in and there is no Browse on my screen saver options menu (I am using Win XP Pro). I know I can set this as my screen saver....just don't know how....

IIRC, .scr is an associated file extension, too. There used to be email viruses that went around in .scr format.

 

The only person to ever send email attachments to me... is me.

I also only use web-based email now. My personal domain allows me to use Horde to access my email there.

 

same here i have a rule : dont download any email with an attachment, untill you have checked where its coming from and is solicited. no matter what the extension

 

are you serious? i'd rather risk the virus, depending on the file type *SOME* i'll scan. i don't have the patience to call up someone "did you send this to me?" lol yea right ... i'd never see myself doing that. but ofcourse if someone sends me a file named "Christmas_Picture.jpg.exe" i'm not going to open it...
