Screen Size

Small segment screen cut off on right side. Cannot size or move screen with cursor

 

It took a bit, and some chasing. But, I googled, found a MS site with instructions for sizing sundry Win OP's. Wound up choosing a smaller screen size, had to log off. Then went through the procedure again, this time reverting to the prior screen size. Rebooted, and all is back to normal. Lot of reading and digging.

 

This computer is becoming a real PIA. I was off line since last evening. Signed back on earlier and loaded a game my boys like to play. All normal. They played a bit, then we signed off the game, leaving the computer on.. Just re-loaded, and the screen size reverted to a segment of the screen cut off. as it did Tuesday. I was able to putz around and resize the screen.
However, am I going to have this problem again, and if so why? And how do I fix it permanently?
