    Greetings, Hornnumb2...

Have you tried rebooting the machine?

Ok - you might post everything that you've tried so that I (and others) won't ask needless/redundant questions...;)

If the machine has a HDMI or VGA output have you tried connecting a discrete monitor? Also, what is the Dell Service Tag number for your machine?

Right click a blank area of the desktop and select Screen Resolution.
Click the Advanced settings button then the troubleshoot tab.

From reading, it appears that the 2020 A-I-O has 5 USB ports but no ports to use a different monitor.

No external monitor connection, I went to the troubleshooting tab but no options listed there. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Unfortunately, A-I-O units have a problem with heat, like laptops. So much is packed into a small area behind the screen. The heat from the computer can slowly cook the video chip.
I believe there were several threads here about Gateways or HPs where the screens went black.
I tried searching here and got too many hits. Let me start looking to see what the owners of those units did.

It about 7 months old, I sure hoped it would last longer than that. Thanks

Dell seems to think LCD has failed, sending out on site repair so we will see what happens. Thanks Michael

Well after a service call to replace lcd, screen didn't change but now had a green line down one side, so they set up another service call to replace motherboard but the first tech wouldn"t put the old screen back in. So the second tech comes out and replaces the motherboard which fixes the original problem but no the refurb lcd that was installed. So another call to dell and they are sending out a exchange system. I just don't know why that can't make the video chip solder joints last longer than 6 months. I looked at the board while it was apart and no cooling setup at all for the chip.

Holy Crap, got the replacement in today and Dell hooked me up. I had a 20in non touch all in one running 2.6 ghz windows 7. The replacement is 23in touchscreen running 3.4 with windows 8. (Gonna have to figure that out) Michael
