screensaver doesnt work

    I have a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. I cannot seem to get my screensaver to run. I can preview it fine but it never starts when the computer is on but not used. Any thoughts?

    Battery, power or both? Soes the screen go black before the screensaver kicks in?
    Control Panel, Personalization, Screensaver
    what Wait time is showing?

    Click on Change Power settings and what power plan is showing?

    Both. Screensaver doesn,t start at all so no black screen. Wait time is 45 minutes

    Go to :
    • Start, bottom left of screen
    • Type Screensaver in the Search box and <enter>
    • Alter (in Screensaver box) from None to Bubbles, for example
    • Press Preview, for a preview. :-D
    • Alter Wait time from 60 minutes (default) to the number of minutes you want to wait, e,g., 1-10 minutes
    • Click Apply then OK
    and it should work.

    Works for me in Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit.;)

    My wait time is 10 minutes and my screensaver kicks in. (7 Home Premium 64 bit)

    Before I do searching, I need to know the brand and exact model of the computer.

    Got it solved. I downloaded new drivers for my wireless mouse - thanks to you! Thanks so much for your help!!

    hi! my screensaver come on but its blank. I want to the setting and it said that it's not blank. i like to why it not coming on.
