Screensaver Freeze Up

Well, one of the older computers that I am running is having a problem with the screen saver freezing up and it requires that I manually reboot the machine so I can use it. I am running ME and have a 400mhz processor. I am running several programs such as roxio, norton AV, Mcafee desktop firewall, but no programs that were procured through the net. I have scanned the system with yahoo spyware tool and it is clean. Now, this doesn't happen each time the screen saver is one, it's happens just enough to be annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

This sounds sort of like a memory problem. Best suggestions I can make is to disable the screen saver =/
