screwd my microsoft

    I own windows office for the XP
    I bought a laptop from amazon, it has windows 7
    the trail period ran out on Word, I dont use office, so maybe it all ran out

    I bought a Product Key Card at Best buy for a new PC loaded with MS office 2010

    I followed the directions and currently it is downloading the Code

    why is this so hard?

    anti-piracy concerns is my guess.

    and all though I love what office 2010 has to offer feature wise with all the "too the cloud" abilities, openoffice works just fine for what I use a word processor for
